There?
Over there.
This one actually has an entire intro that lead into what remains in the audio file above. But after listening to it for an nth time I decided I didn’t really understand what I thought I was doing with it to begin with and didn’t see the point in keeping it in the finished piece when I actually preferred it without.
Technically the Guitar track is continuously present in the above, but it is most often shoved unceremoniously into the back ground. It pops up time to time but generally remains a digressive decaying incidental thing.
What is left is a simple Digitakt II/Digitone II combo; a small handful of tracks from each, mostly from the Digitakt. The Digitakt/Digitone combo was initially just the foundation for the guitar track I chopped from the piece. It was more or less something used to keep a bit of time for me so as to not let me wander too far off into the weeds.
Which I did anyways.
At some point about a third of the way through the piece, I put the Guitar aside and focused mostly on the Digitakt/Digitone combo for the remaining portion of “There?”. I preferred that portion enough to keep it.
Afterwords, I concocted some word salad as a seperate track and then tossed that onto the heap.
The vocals have a fair presence of the Bad Mood. This is a nice use of it for what I do in that regard. I have it dialed back enough to provide some variation but not overpower anything. On the other hand I go Willy Nilly with it on the Digitakt/Digitone combo and at times it more or less commandeers large portions of the audio coming from that direction.
It bothers me that the audio is labled “There.” It is “There?” It is there as “There?”in the name of the original file I uploaded.
The “?” was eaten by digital gremlins.
